Feel good jazz is what we have here. That kind of laid back sound that wafts through the air on a Sunday morning… like the smell of a good brew of coffee and fresh baked goods, Jared Wilson’s jazz is strongly appealing. Easy, joyful jazz is the focus here on WORRY NO MORE. According to the artist, “Music is something that should make you feel good. It has the power to transform one’s mood from gloomy to feelings of jubilation.” A driven young talent from Pittsburgh, PA, Jared Wilson originally gravitated toward the trumpet before perusing the saxophone. But by the age of 13, he discovered the tenor sax and the rest, as they say, is history. Inspired by the greats: Grover Washington, Jr., Michael Brecker and Bob Mintzer… Jared Wilson & The Vibe have been laying down good feelings for more than a decade. “Worry No More” by Jared Wilson and The Vibe is a collection of jazz instrumentals that are sure to pierce through the ears and into the mind and soul. Refreshingly soothing and relaxing, “Worry No More” does just that – takes the listener on a journey away from stresses of everyday life and into the utopia of jazz heaven. Led by the beautifully toned tenor sax, every song on this CD displays unrivaled musicianship and skillful composition. Great diversity is also apparent, from the upbeat sounds of “St. Thomas” to the masterpiece ballad dubbed “Gia.” Moreover, the remarkable piano-runs on songs like “Cold Duck” are too spectacular to not point out. Simply put, this album is just too enjoyable to not have! Jazz lovers will find a musical paradise with “Worry No More!”
